NEW Family Medicine Teaching Unit

The Family Medicine Teaching Unit (FMTU) is a partnership between the Markham Stouffville Hospital, the University of Toronto Department of Family and Community Medicine, and Uxbridge Health Centre.

A Little About Us

Uxbridge Health Centre is a group practice of 13 family doctors and 1 paediatrician committed to the care of our special Uxbridge community. 

We operate a walk-in clinic for urgent care and many of our physicians also work in the Emergency Department at the hospital, make house calls, visit nursing homes and provide home based palliative care. Our Allied Health team is available to compliment your medical needs with, counsellors on site.
